Day 9: Meet 9 Friday Work Too

Kia ora my friends, Today has been a very rusty day for me. What about you?
For my reading today I got to write about what the best in invention mankind has made.
My subject was Drawing. Drawing is a form of Arts. Drawing can come in many different forms For example Doodling, Realistic and anime (etc.). Many people have different styles of Drawing that creates uniqueness. Drawing is kind of like telling a story, for example, Leonardo Da Vinci's last supper was talking about a story in the gospel. I strongly believe that art can send messages to some
peoples brains.
Drawing dates back to 30,000 years ago from rock art to pencil drawing.
Old famous artists like Leonardo Da Vinci, Andy Warhol and Michelangelo are still famous.
These days the most popular artists are Kaws, Takashi Murakami and more.
But other people have different people they are inspired by.
The artist who first really inspired me and got me to find out that I'm natural at drawing is Vexx.
Vexx is a Belgium artist which is mostly known as a YouTuber.
But what inspires me is mostly now is studio Ghibli. Studio Ghibli is a Japanese animation group their art is by Hayao Miyazaki. Studio Ghibli was founded in 1985 by Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata, Toshio Suzuki and Yasuyoshi Tokuma.
Thanks for reading my blog hope you enjoyed and learned a bit about art.
Do you know some facts that you believe about drawing? Comment down below.

  1. Hey Felix, I like your idea about something created by mankind that you would celebrate. I completely agree that the world wouldn't be what it is now without art. Art is so important to so many people and I agree that a lot of people use it is a way to express their feelings. I like your piece of art and that you have set yourself a goal next time to use better pens. Keep up the great work. Caitlin :)

  2. Kia ora Felix,

What a great picture you have created. It really made me want to know more about what the art work was based on. I have loved seeing lots of people sharing their art work over the lockdown.

I really like your thinking around celebrating art and creativity. It is something the world needs a lot of. I am not so creative in the drawing/painting sense but I like making spaces beautiful through the use of other people's art and with the use of plants and nature.

Thank you for sharing your thinking and your art work. I hope you are able to save for the new pens.

  3. Hello! The anatomy on his is aewsome! You did a grat job on the hands and I know how hard and annoying hands can be. THe males arm looks a bit un- natural though. If you could reply to this telling me how you do guide lines or the base for you anatomy that would be great! Personally i use triangles and circles. Circles with joits and a triangle to repersent your pelvis.
